Not bad, I wish I could finish it but after falling so many times to find the good jump I'm leaving it.
It's a typical game design mistake to not add grace period after edges, if you add some the gameplay would definitely benefit from it and be more better :)
Without it, it's a nightmare.
Nice little game, keep it up !

mmattugh responds:

Thanks for trying it out.

I completely agree with the grace period after edges.
I'm still on the fence about it though, since it's been published I'm thinking of just accepting it for what it is and taking all the feedback for future knowledge on the next project.

Really nice game. A bit tedious to get your hands on but once you are used to it it gets spooky. lol.

Nirag responds:

Thank you very much!

Dang it I did **** christmas up again this year !
(music is catchy)

TristanMX responds:

it looks that a lot did xD... only 7 managed to not f** christmas so far and Santa granted them sooo much this year

Really great little game! :)
Dunno if the theme song is a bit like the mission impossible one? like the beginning ?
Anyway really cool little entry, well done :)

Liquidream responds:

You are correct - that was not by accident.
This was essentially a "Game Jam" game, so I wasn't too worried with infringing a little on copyright - if it meant setting the mood right! ;o)

Great little game with a lot of pleasure to play! really enjoyed the smooth ambiance and calm gameplay. Also beautiful art :) Well done! :)

MartinJacob responds:

Thank you that's very kind ! :)
Have good one

The game is no bad at all. I was pleased to finish it.
The mechanic is simple but easy to get and the challenge is cool.
The music was a bit repetitive, and the frame screen that you uploaded your game was a bit large for my screen. Don't know if it happens to others too.

There a little issue when you encounter the first blue block. If you place a platform it reset the level without the blue block, you have to die in order to reset it.
Other than that it was a nice little game. Keep it up.

Citybuilder14 responds:

Thanks for the feedback, that bug will be fixed in a upcoming patch

I tested your game on itch.io (you advertised it somewhere, I think I saw the link on twitter and played it)
I'm glad that you decided to put it on Newgrounds :)
It is a lovely game, really you did a beautiful job.

I can't get enough of it and I would not critic the game here because it deserve to get his own opinion by playing it. So i encourage people to actually play it. It is an instant classic.

JoelLikesPigs responds:

Wow that's an incredible review - thanks so much. It's been pretty exciting having the game over here on Newgrounds - I seem to get a lot more comments from people here than I'd usually get on itch. I'll probably continue to upload stuff here in the future as well as my itch page because of it

It is not bad. I played until the end and I liked the idea.
The game finishes quickly. I find it frustrating especially when for example you introduce new mechanics such as the warp et the blocks.
In the bigger arrows pattern sometimes there is not much of a challenge because you can only go to one direction so it is like "yes its the good way, or not its not". There is no much of strategic choice.
Despite that, I find it cool, I liked the minimalistic design, the little sounds and the time I spent on it was nice. It is a good little game that takes your brain for a few minutes and it is pleasant.
I wish there were more levels or variety of it.

Bigaston responds:

Thanks!
For now, I'm not a very good level designer, I'm a dev, so I don't have idea of more level... (That's why I want to do an upgrade in the future maybe).

The presentation is nice, It feels polished and finished.
I mean by that, that I can play and finish the game without thinking about any issue :)
the style is cool, music is non invasive and also the gameplay mechanic is simple.
But it is maybe too simple...in its own complexity.

Keeping the balance between 0% and not letting the city prosper is just a simple gymnastic, but it gets very frustrating when you can lose at any moment because you didn't properly pay too much attention to your percentage.
My points and my life did not get any of my attention as I was focused to start burning down building when I reach 30%.
That being said I enjoyed the game and it is different of what you did bring up previously.
I wish there was a deeper goal in all that except that I used to love FLCL.

SilverwareGames responds:

This feedback helps a lot. When we've been playtesting a lot of people needed to focus on the percentage and I know it might be nice to just burn without the constraints. This gives me the idea that down the line we might make "Free Burn" mode where you just rack up points as fast as possible.

Really nice multiplayer game, very polished and very fun! Kudos to you!
It is well assembled and all the details to spot are top notch.

What program did you used to animate the logo of your game? I find it cute!

LesCrafteurs responds:

Thank you Krappy-Krapo !
We used After Effect to animate the logo, then export sprites and add sound effects :D

I'm a self taught artist. Oh and NewGrounds have such an amazing community. Love it.
