I know it is a demo, and I wish your game succeed.
I finished it but found it kind of frustrating at times. Maybe you try to immerse your player in the atmosphere, which is good. I liked the classical music piece, the sounds, some creepy details.
I'm sure this would be a good little game.
I can't really judge by the demo because walking around until finishing on a screamer doesn't really show off.
But still, some little things makes it promising.

It is nice, but I would have not pop the player with a little jump, it makes you loosing time and pause the dynamic of the gameplay. Should make him pop up directly on the ground.

Otherwise it is a bit of fun, well done !
